TEMECULA — Frankie Valli canceled the remainder of his 2026 concert tour to focus on his health following his last performance on February 22, 2026, at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California. The 92-year-old singer announced he would take the rest of the year off from touring and devote the next six months to improving his health, with hopes of returning to the stage in 2027.
"I’m so sorry to disappoint the folks who have purchased tickets to my shows, but I have decided to take the rest of the year off from touring to focus on my health. I’m looking forward to getting healthy and seeing you all again soon. Thank you for all your good wishes," Valli said in a social media post.
Victoria Varela, Valli’s longtime representative, said the decision was made to cancel rather than postpone the remaining dates to avoid leaving ticket holders in limbo. "Promoters want to prolong things and not give people their money back, but he needs to not keep rescheduling these shows. He realized he needed to take a break and get his health in order, and that is the true issue — he wants to get better without prolonging, through the rescheduling process, the pain of people who’ve bought these tickets," Varela said.
Nine concert dates have been canceled, including previously rescheduled shows originally planned for April 2026. Among the canceled performances were concerts set for June 26 in Scottsdale, Arizona; June 28 in Anaheim, California; and July 17 in Newark. Valli had shows scheduled through November 2026 in Detroit before the cancellation.
Valli launched his farewell tour "The Last Encores" in October 2023. He is the lead singer of the Four Seasons and had a solo career in the 1960s. He is the only original member of the Four Seasons still performing with the band, which has sold 100 million records worldwide. His hits include "Walk Like a Man," "Big Girls Don’t Cry," "Rag Doll," and "Can’t Take My Eyes Off You."
In 2026, Valli received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. His life and career inspired the Broadway musical "Jersey Boys," which ran from 2005 to 2017 and was adapted into a 2014 film directed by Clint Eastwood. Valli was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 as a member of the Four Seasons.
