Microsoft announced release dates and details for several video games during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7, 2026, at 1 p.m. ET. The showcase presentation featured titles including Minecraft Dungeons 2, Fable, and Gears of War: E-Day.

The broadcast stream for the Xbox Games Showcase was available on platforms such as YouTube and Twitch. Following the main presentation, a separate broadcast focused on Gears of War: E-Day was aired. The showcase did not include announcements regarding hardware for a next-generation Xbox console.

Minecraft Dungeons 2, a sequel to Minecraft Dungeons, is scheduled for release on September 29, 2026. Doom: The Dark Ages Revelations will release on July 7, 2026, and will include a throwable spear weapon. Halo: Campaign Evolved, a remake of the campaign mode from Halo: Combat Evolved, will release on July 28, 2026, for Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PC, and PlayStation 5. Halo: Campaign Evolved will feature a three-mission story arc called Operation: Meteorite, which is set one year before the original Halo game and includes playable characters Master Chief and Sergeant Johnson.

Fable, the first main entry in the series since Fable III in 2010, will be released on February 23, 2027, simultaneously on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation 5. The Fable Premium Edition will offer early access starting on February 18, 2027. Microsoft had delayed the release window for Fable to February 2027 days before the June 7 showcase. Gears of War: E-Day will release exclusively on Xbox consoles and PC on October 6, 2026, and will not be available on PlayStation 5.

Other titles announced include Crazy Taxi World Tour, which will release in 2027. Senua, a follow-up to Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, will release on Xbox, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2027. Bad Magpie is also scheduled for release in 2027. Persona 4 Revival will be available on Xbox on February 18, 2027. State of Decay 3 will release in 2027 and will be available on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation 5 platforms.

Xbox chief content officer Matt Booty stated that Project Helix would not be featured at the June 7 Xbox Games Showcase. Microsoft restructured the leadership of its gaming division in April 2026, with Asha Sharma now leading the division.
