NASHVILLE — Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley performed together at CMA Fest on Thursday, marking their first joint performance since 2022. The duo, known as Florida Georgia Line, had announced an indefinite hiatus that same year.
During the event, Michael Buffer introduced Hubbard and Kelley. They performed their 2013 song "Round Here" while moving through the audience. They also performed the song "Cruise."
A billboard in downtown Nashville displayed a phone number prior to the performance. Texting this phone number resulted in an automated message stating that further announcements would follow. The Country Music Association organizes the four-day CMA Fest.
The song "Cruise" spent approximately 30 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The duo released "Meant to Be" with Bebe Rexha in 2017. "Meant to Be" spent 50 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and holds the record for the longest-running No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The duo has not announced additional performances following the CMA Fest appearance.
