DUBLIN — The 2026 Memorial Tournament will be held June 1–7 at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, marking the event’s 50th anniversary. Founded by retired golf legend Jack Nicklaus, the tournament honors individuals who have distinguished themselves in golf while showcasing top professional talent on a course Nicklaus designed and has continually refined.

The tournament has three primary goals: to honor golfers who have distinguished themselves in the sport, to present elite competition on a challenging course for spectator enjoyment, and to raise funds for charitable causes. Beneficiaries include the Nicklaus Children's Health Care Foundation, Nationwide Children's Hospital, and Stephen and Ayesha Curry's Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation, among other local organizations.

Although five-time Memorial champion Tiger Woods will not compete in the 2026 edition, defending champion Scottie Scheffler will seek his third consecutive victory at the event. Scheffler won the tournament in both 2024 and 2025.

Local officials and business leaders emphasize the tournament’s broad economic and cultural impact. “The Memorial is certainly a large event, not only for Dublin, Ohio, but for our region and for our state.” said Jeremiah Gracia, Dublin Director of Economic Development. He added, “It's a global renowned brand, and with someone like Jack Nicklaus behind it, we are proud that he calls the Memorial home.”

Businesses in Dublin anticipate an uptick in activity during tournament week. “Typically at other places I've worked, it's been between 10 and 25% increase in revenue for the week, especially later in the week when everybody's in town.” said David Sharpe, general manager at HangOverEasy in Dublin. Lisa Gutierrez, owner of Dos Hermanos and Dublin Chamber of Commerce President, expressed optimism about the milestone anniversary: “I believe that it has grown over the years, and this being the 50th year, I think the crowds are going to be tremendous. And we look forward as a business community to welcoming them.” According to the city of Dublin, the Memorial Tournament generates more than $35 million in annual economic impact.
